The Motherwell Fans Collective and the general Motherwell support have expressed concern regarding the onboarding of Lucky Tiger Ltd as a commercial shorts sponsor of Motherwell Football Club. The Club announced Lucky Tiger Ltd as a commercial partner for three years.
The Steelmen Dispatch has submitted a report to The Well Society with our concerns regarding the onboarding of Lucky Tiger Ltd. We are not, at this stage, publishing this report.
The report does not engage with the ethical considerations of partnering with a gambling and competitions company, but rather, addresses separate concerns we have about Lucky Tiger Ltd and the relationship between the Club and Lucky Tiger.
We do, however, note the response of Motherwell fans across social media and are acutely aware of the harm that gambling can cause. We have opened a poll on the subject. We will keep the results of these public and are happy to engage with stakeholders on the subject.
